site under renovation but FIRST this news:

After 15 years of leading the food department for Martha Stewart, one of the most evolutionary thinkers of our time, I’ve resigned my position as SVP, Executive Editorial Director, Food and Entertaining, to build a family business of my own. My mission, which started with Mad Hungry, is to show the next generation how to embrace the power of home cooking–-by providing the goods and services to help people nourish and feed themselves and their families. This I know from my own experience: If you cook for the people you love, and teach them to cook for themselves, they will pass it on.

Stay tuned for more details about my plans in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, thank you to Martha and the entire Martha Stewart Living family who helped reinforce my passion for food and creating all of these years.

Just watched an old clip of Mad Hungry on marthastewart.com. of you cooking duck a la orange. Have missed seeing you on t.v. Look forward to hearing about the next chapter in your life.

I am waiting eagerly for news of this next venture. I’ve shared many of your recipes with my two boys who have turned into amazing cooks. And every so often, they cook for me, just as you said.

Lucinda, You are the best. I have commented to you in the past that I miss your Mad Hungry program and I still do to this day. You are a natural and you make it look so easy even I could make the food you cooked on the program. Good luck to you in this new venture. I cherish your cookbooks. Hope there will be more.

Lucinda, Your talent and insight has always been so inspirational.
My Grandmother shared her love of food with me and cooking has become
the way I relax after a long day. I wish you all the best and cannot wait to see
what great things you have up your sleeve to further inspire my love of food!
Good thoughts for you and your family – CCC
