The B.E.C.S. Challenge
One phrase that people love to hear is bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich (B.E.C.S.). Everyone has their own version of this classic breakfast favorite and everyone thinks their recipe reigns supreme. But I’ve got news for you—I think we make the best bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches around and I’m challenging YOU to a B.E.C.-off.
Send me your best B.E.C. recipe with a link to a photo or video (2 minutes or less) explaining why your breakfast sandwich is better than mine. I’ll choose 5 finalists the week of October 12th and post their recipes right here on the MAD Hungry blog. Then YOU get to vote for the winner! The winner will receive a MAD Hungry Prize Pack which includes a MAD Hungry pot scraper, t-shirt AND cookbook (the t-shirts are REALLY cool).
Just so you know what you’re up against, here’s my B.E.C that I made on the Martha show:

See if you can take on the champ and let the games begin!

I am just going to say it. I love your sandwich. Yummy and delicious. I wouldn’t even try to beat it. Can’t wait to see the results of the challenge.
LOVE..love..love your TV show!!
Please tellus about our competition. Post pictures, descriptions, something!
Your bacon-egg-cheese sandwich is fantastic! I embellish it (as I do everything because I can’t help myself) by adding a slice of tomato, a little hot sauce and a sprinkle of grated cheese over the eggs. And maybe some fresh chopped parsley when in season out my back door. My husband loves them! Thanks so much for your wonderful cooking show. I love your recipes and your flair in the kitchen. I’m curious, though, about your mother’s background. . . it seems Mediterranean but which? Greek, Armenian, or what?
Used to watch video if missed the program. What happened to the videos? Are they no longer showing videos of your television programs anymore?
