THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Practically the first thing I did when I got home Saturday night was make dinner. Headed for a basic tomato sauce with spaghetti, I ended up with Amatraciana (just red onion, bacon, hot pepper and tomatoes). And, if spaghetti is the first thing to make upon a return home–lunch the next day was equally as simple; a tuna sandwhich. These are very small pleasures which add up to big and good feelings because cooking at home is the most normal, simple and essential thing you can do.
