Recipes from Today’s Show: Between-Meal Snacks

Published by

TODAY on MHTV @ 11:30 a.m. ET: Sometimes you or your fam are hungry and making it all the way to dinner just isn’t an option. When that happens, a homemade snack is the way to go. My Nonny’s tuna gremolata is like a smooth tuna salad that we use to spread on crackers or as dip for veggies. Then CQ’s ramen noodle upgrade (something he came up with in college) is mixed with hot sauce and peanut butter for a must-have treat. For two quick and healthy fixes I like a bloodshot one eye—egg-in-a-hole with a sweet red pepper—or a creamy peanut punch. More from the show.

The ramen noodle recipe is not healthy at all ! The seasoning packet has MSG and is bad for brain health , also gives many sensitve people headaches.
The noodles are poor quality. I love your show but this recipe was bad for peoples health.

Ione-not every recipe is for everyone-you are in control of picking the right ones for your family. If you think ramen noodle is bad for you then don’t make it and don’t eat it. But as you can read-other people do like it. Maybe there is something Lucinda made that you thought was healthy and delicious but someone else didn’t. Most Chinese restaurants use MSG to cook but when Lucinda cooks Asian, she doesn’t use it-so balance, that’s all.
