Recipes from Today’s Show: Impatient Pasta

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Sometimes it seems like you can’t get dinner done fast enough but with this menu you’ll keep everyone happy. I grill up some calamari and toss it with lemon and garlic—the best part is it only takes about 3 minutes to cook, so once it’s ready the fam can get started on that while I work on the amatraciana sauce. This sauce is one of my favs—it’s got bacon!—and tossed with spaghetti is so, so good. For dessert, zabaglione (a light Italian custard) comes together in no time and is fab spooned over fresh raspberries. More from the show.

Love your show Lucinda! I can’t wait to try these dishes. You give such great explanations while you’re cooking and are so down to earth…fantastic!

My significant other, John, loves to cook also and he swears by his wooden “spurdle.” Isn’t that what you call the long wooden tool you use to stir, etc.?

Keep up the great work! I’m enjoying your Mad Hungry cookbook and watch your show frequently.

    Take care,

Love your show. My question is how do you clean a cast iron skillet? I use salt however, that does not seem to do the trick. Thank you Maary
